HOST OVH SAS 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France Telephone: +33 9 72 10 10 07 This identifies the host of the meshbay.org server. It does not concern users' data: see section 4. 3. WHAT THE SERVICE IS MeshBay is private-group software. Each group is hosted by one of its participants, on their own machine, by means of software called a "node". The features available within a group are chosen by whoever hosts it. The meshbay.org server only handles accounts, the group directory and the technical introduction between participants. It keeps none of the data exchanged within groups. Exchanges within a private group are end-to-end encrypted. The person responsible for the site holds no key giving access to them. 4. DATA HELD BY USERS Data exchanged within a group resides on the machine of the participant hosting that group. It does not pass through the meshbay.org server and is not kept there. Consequently, the person responsible for the site has neither possession of, nor technical control over, nor knowledge of that data, and is not in a position to delete it. The participant hosting a group is responsible for what they keep there and for the people to whom they grant access. 5. REPORTING Manifestly unlawful content may be reported to abuse@meshbay.org, together with the details needed to identify it. Reports are handled as provided by article 6 of the LCEN. Where the data concerned is held on a participant's machine, the report is passed to that participant, who alone is able to act. The account concerned may also be suspended and the group removed from the directory. 6. PERSONAL DATA Data processing is described in the Terms of Use, section 6. Requests concerning personal data: contact@meshbay.org You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr) or your national supervisory authority. 7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY The MeshBay software is distributed under LGPL. Data uploaded by users remains the property of its respective authors or rights holders. 8. GOVERNING LAW French law.
